The ancient Chinese philosophy of the source of life is Feng Shui. In Feng Shui, all energy is directly related to wind and water. In order to bring prosperity and good luck, these elements plus others need to be present somewhere in the home.
Each aspect of your life coincides with a particular space in your house and the ancient Chinese Bagua grid helps to divide your life into nine particular zones, paralleled with the home.
According to Feng Shui, the Southeast corner of your home is the prosperity corner. In order for you to fully analyze this corner, check for metal because it is common knowledge that metal increases wealth and stands for prosperity. To increase your prosperity, add some elements of metal to the space.
Although, you could use any metal, there are some traditional Chinese symbols that specifically promote prosperity. An example of such is an ancient gold Chinese coin. This coin is round with a square hole in the middle and is frequently called a prosperity coin.
For best results, tie three of these coins together with a red ribbon and put it in the southeast corner of your home. These coins bring good luck and fortune yet they don’t even have to be in plain sight to work!
Also, a small golden statue known as “the laughing Buddha” is known to bring wealth and prosperity. In fact, he is frequently shown holding a bag of money or a gold bar to represent his wealth so placing the Buddha in the southeast corner is great for your prosperity.
The Chinese sailing ship also promotes wealth. This ship, placed above the front door, attracts wealth and if you can find one made of metal it’s a double whammy! Be careful that your Chinese sailing ship sails inward, into the room so the wealth comes in. Finally, you should fill the ship with gold coins or ingots to represent wealth floating into your life.
There are many ways to have bad prosperity in a home as well. One of the worst ways is if you have an abundance of water elements. These water elements cause wealthy to wash away so be sure to keep all elements of Feng Shui completely balanced. Bad Chi simply shakes everything up.
Adding additional metal objects to your room may also improve prosperity. Any metal knick-knack or wall hanging is a perfect piece to put in this corner. A metal lamp is also a great idea, if it works in the space.
Be sure that none of the metal objects have points because they have been known to turn against you. Be sure to keep it soft.
Overall, Feng Shui can give immense prosperity to any family, as long as the right corner is supplemented. Southeast is where all the magic is at.
